Overview

North Texas spring storms bring straight-line winds strong enough to fold a privacy fence flat, and a tall solid fence catches wind like a sail. The damage is usually the same: posts snapped or pulled at the footing, sections leaning or down, and pickets broken by debris or falling limbs.

Our first job after a storm is making your yard safe, especially if you have dogs, a pool or an open property line. Then we document the damage, write a repair estimate and rebuild on steel posts that hold far better in the next storm.

Why we don't post prices onlineTwo fences of the same length can differ widely in cost once grade, access, gates and what's in the ground are counted. We would rather give you one accurate written number than a range that doesn't hold up.

Common questions

Will insurance cover a fence damaged in a storm?

Many homeowner policies cover wind and falling-tree damage to fences, subject to your deductible. Your adjuster decides; we provide photos and a written estimate.

Should I wait for the adjuster before securing my yard?

Take photos first, then secure. Temporary securing to protect pets or prevent further damage is usually expected.

Can you remove the tree that fell on my fence?

We clear branches tangled in the fence. Large tree removal goes to a tree service, and we coordinate with them.

Why rebuild on steel posts?

Galvanized steel posts resist snapping at grade, which is exactly where wood posts fail in high winds.
