Wrought Iron & Ornamental Steel Fencing
Ornamental steel fencing that defines a property line without hiding the house, powder-coated to hold its finish through Texas sun and storms.
Overview
What most people call wrought iron today is ornamental steel: square pickets and rails welded or riveted into panels and powder-coated black. It's stronger than aluminum, lasts for decades with almost no maintenance, and keeps the view open, which is why it's the usual choice for front yards, pool barriers and lots that back onto greenbelts or ponds.
We install standard panels where a run is straight and level, and racked or stepped panels where the ground slopes, so the bottom rail follows grade without leaving gaps a dog can slip through. Gates are built to match, on posts sized for the gate's weight.

Common questions
Is ornamental steel the same as wrought iron?
True wrought iron is hand-forged and rarely used now. Modern ornamental fencing is welded steel with a powder-coated finish. It looks the same, costs far less and resists rust better.
Will it rust?
Powder-coated steel holds up well, but any scratch that reaches bare metal should be touched up to stop rust spreading. We leave matching touch-up paint with every job.
Can it keep my dog in?
Yes, with the right picket spacing. Tell us about your dog during the walk and we can tighten spacing or add a bottom section with extra pickets.
Steel or aluminum?
Steel is stronger and more rigid; aluminum never rusts and is lighter. We install steel as standard and quote aluminum where corrosion is a concern, such as right beside a pool.
