Fence Installation in Plano & North Dallas
Six fence types, one crew, and the same rule on every job: posts set deep enough to stay straight through a North Texas summer.
Most fences in Collin County don't fail because of the boards. They fail at the post, where Blackland Prairie clay swells after a storm and shrinks in August, working a shallow footing loose a little more every season. Everything we install starts from that: galvanized steel posts as standard on wood fences, footings sized to the height, and concrete crowned to shed water.
Below are the fence types we build most. If you're not sure which suits your yard, HOA or budget, that's what the on-site estimate is for: we walk the line, look at grade and drainage, and give you the options side by side in writing.

Common questions
Do you install steel posts on wood fences?
Yes, as standard. Galvanized steel posts set in concrete outlast wood posts by a wide margin in our clay, and they sit behind the boards on the street side. Wood posts are available if your HOA requires them.
How long does a fence installation take?
Most residential fences take two to four working days once materials are on site. We'll give you a schedule with your written estimate.
Do I need a permit or HOA approval?
It depends on your city and neighborhood. Many Collin County cities require a fence permit, and most HOAs approve height, material and stain color. We pull the permit where one is required and provide specs for your HOA application.
Will you call 811 before digging?
Always. We request Texas811 utility locates before any post hole is dug, and we mark private lines like sprinklers and landscape lighting with you during the walk.
