Acreage & Land Clearing
Overgrown acreage opened back up for pasture, a homesite or a new fence. Keeper trees are flagged first; everything else is mulched or hauled.
Overview
Acreage on the edges of Collin County fills in fast. Leave a pasture for a few seasons and privet, cedar, hackberry and greenbriar take over, until you can't walk it, let alone fence it. Opening it back up is usually a mix of forestry mulching for the brush and smaller trees, and selective removal for anything bigger.
We start with a walk of the property to agree what stays: shade trees, mature oaks and pecans, and the creek-bank vegetation that holds the soil. Those are flagged before any machine moves. Then we clear in sections, so you can see the result and adjust as we go.

Common questions
Will clearing damage my pasture soil?
Track machines spread their weight and do far less damage than wheeled equipment, and the mulch left on the surface protects the soil while grass re-establishes.
How do you handle invasive privet?
We mulch or remove it at the base. Privet resprouts from its roots, so expect some regrowth; a follow-up pass keeps it from coming back thick.
Can you clear around my existing fence?
Yes, and we can repair or rebuild the fence on the cleared line afterward. That's where most of our clearing work starts.
Do you clear for new home sites?
Yes. We open the building area and driveway path, keep the trees you want, and leave the pad ready for your builder.
