Custom Gates & Gate Openers in North Dallas
A gate is the part of a fence you use every day. We build them on steel frames, hang them on posts sized for the load, and automate them properly.
Gates fail for predictable reasons: a frame too light for its width, a post that isn't set deep enough to carry the weight, or an opener sized for a smaller gate. Each ends the same way: a gate that sags, drags and eventually won't latch.
We design gates from the hinge post out. Walk gates get welded steel frames inside the wood. Drive gates get posts and footings sized for their weight. Automatic gates get an operator rated above the gate, with the safety devices the job needs.

| Gate type | Needs | Strengths | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Swing | A clear arc inside the opening | Simplest and usually lowest cost | Level drives with room for leaves to open |
| Slide | A straight run of fence beside the opening | Works on slopes and short setbacks | Drives that rise, or where a swing would hit cars |
| Cantilever | Extra length beyond the opening; no ground track | No track to clog with gravel or debris | Commercial lots and rough pavement |
We measure your opening and drive slope during the estimate and recommend the type that fits.

Common questions
Can you automate my existing gate?
Often, yes. We check the frame, hinges and posts first. Automating a gate that already sags just wears out the opener faster.
Do I need electricity at the gate?
AC power is best for heavy or busy gates. Solar operators work well for lighter gates and long drives where trenching power is costly.
What happens if the power goes out?
Every operator we install has a manual release, and battery backup is available so the gate keeps working through an outage.
Do you repair gates you didn't build?
Yes. Gate repair is a large part of our work, from sagging wood gates to failed openers.
